Where to find us
Depending on where you’re coming from, different routes can be taken to get to the Festival. The main ones are:
Highway 20 from the east (Eastern Quebec and the Maritimes)
Take the Pont Jacques-Cartier exit off the highway, cross the bridge, take the first exit on the right (“centre-ville”), turn right at the second light onto René-Lévesque and keep driving until you get to St. Urbain Street and Complexe Desjardins.
Highway 20 from the west (Ontario)
Stay on the highway until you find yourself in the Ville-Marie tunnel, which passes under the downtown area. From the tunnel take the Boul. St-Laurent exit, which lands you on Sanguinet St. Turn left off Sanguinet onto René-Lévesque and keep driving until you get to St-Urbain St. and Complexe Desjardins.
Highway 40 from the west (Ontario)
Take the Décarie south exit. Stay on the Décarie expressway and look for the sign that says “Montréal, centre-ville.” You’ll end up in the Ville-Marie tunnel, passing under the downtown area. Take the St-Laurent street exit from the tunnel, which leads to Sanguinet St. Turn left off Sanguinet onto René-Lévesque and keep driving until you get to St-Urbain street and Complexe Desjardins.
Highway 40 from the east (eastern Quebec)
Take the St-Laurent south exit and head south. St-Laurent street swings onto Clark St. and then onto St. Urbain St., one way southbound. Stay on St-Urbain (15 to 20 minutes, depending on the traffic situation), until the corner of Sherbrooke street, where you’ll find one of the entrances to the site.
Highways 10 and 15 from the Eastern Townships and the United States
Cross the Champlain Bridge and take the Montréal, centre-ville exit, on your right. This leads to the Ville-Marie tunnel, which passes under the downtown area. From the tunnel take the St-Laurent exit, which puts you on Sanguinet St. Turn left off Sanguinet onto René-Lévesque and keep driving till you get to St-Urbain St. and Complexe Desjardins.
